School closures

A list of schools that are currently closed and when they are due to re-open (if known). Closures are announced during the breakfast shows on Heart FM (102.6 and 97.4 FM), BBC Oxford (95.2 FM), Touch FM (107.6 FM), Jack FM (106.8 orĀ 106.4 FM), Oxford's FM (107.9 FM).

Pupil records

How long should certain pupil records be retained by a school before they can be disposed of? Many school records are invaluable for local historical and genealogical research so we do not destroy records unless they are of no such value.

Religious education

Religious education (RE) is not part of the National Curriculum but must be taught in schools by law. SACREs (Standing Advisory Councils on Religious Education) are responsible for advising councils on religious education and collective worship.
