Proposals for 20mph speed limits in Oxford

Earlier this year we asked people for their views on 20mph speed limits in Oxford.

A 20mph limit is proposed for almost all residential roads and some sections of more major roads in Oxford.

Previous consultations demonstrated support for proposals to place 20mph speed limits on most roads in Oxford, so earlier this year, we asked you which roads you thought should be included. The consultation ended on 5 March, and Cllr Ian Hudspeth, Cabinet Member for Transport, considered all responses on 23 April 2009 to make a final decision.

Information about the decision will be added to these pages soon.
