Commercial waste
Helping businesses to reduce, reuse and recycle their commercial waste.
Are you throwing away profit? The cost of waste affects every business regardless of its size. UK businesses produce 75 million tonnes of waste each year, over half of which is sent to landfill. With increasing landfill costs businesses need to rethink their waste disposal options.
We recognise the growing importance in tackling this issue and firmly believe in the benefits of integrated waste management strategies. To find out how you can make financial savings through waste reduction, reuse and recycling request our Commercial Waste Reduction Pack.

It is a pilot project funded through DEFRA’s Business Resource Efficiency and Waste programme.
Trade waste survey
In 2005, we undertook a county-wide trade waste survey to gain a greater understanding of the waste issues facing Oxfordshire's business community. The survey results and report (.pdf format, 3.9Mb) communicate these issues and will aid in the development of commercial waste reduction initiatives within the county.
