Rights of way
How we look after Oxfordshire's 2600 miles of public rights of way.
The management of public rights of way - which includes footpaths, bridleways and byways - falls into the following main areas:
- keeping the Definitive Map and Statement up to date.
- protecting and asserting the public's rights to use the network and maintaining the network to a suitable basic standard.
- developing a range of recreational routes and providing information to assist the public.
