Scaffolding and hoarding licences
How to apply for a licence to erect scaffolding or hoarding on the highway.
When you need to erect scaffolding or hoarding to secure a building site, you need to get permission from Oxfordshire County Council.
How to register
First, you need to register with the Area Licensing Team at our Southern Area Office in Drayton (contact details below).
How to apply
You will then receive an application form with terms and conditions.
You will need to return a completed application form and a sketch (where appropriate) to the Drayton address, at least one week before your start date. If permission is granted, the conditions attached to the licence must be carefully read and kept to.
