Our targets
We have signed up to Government targets for the year 2010 (compared with the baseline figures for 1994-98).
- 40% reduction in fatal and serious injuries
- 50% reduction in fatal and serious injuries to children
- 10% reduction in slight casualty rate
Plus additional casualty reduction in Oxfordshire of
- 10% reduction in all injuries to pedestrians
- 10% reduction in all injuries to pedal cycles
Within these pages you will find information about how we are working towards achieving these targets.
We welcome feedback on progress and also suggestions for improving our services. Contact details for individual officers appear on many of the pages, or you can contact geoff.barrell@oxfordshire.gov.uk.
By working together I hope we can achieve, or even better exceed, the above targets and make Oxfordshire's roads safer for everyone.
