What is Oxfordshire Studies

Find out about Oxfordshire Studies collections and services.

Opening hours from August 2008

Owing to delays in the Westgate development project, Oxfordshire Studies will remain open in the Central Library at Westgate until further notice. Transfer to Oxfordshire Record Office, Temple Road, Cowley, has been delayed, and the timescale is as yet uncertain.

However, some packaging will continue to be carried out, and part of the Oxfordshire Studies area will remain closed off to allow this to happen.

There may be Saturdays when the service closes for lunch, as staffing was determined on the expectation of closure in October. We apologise for the uncertainty around our opening hours over the past few months, but this has been due to circumstances beyond our control.

Normal opening hours are:

Day Opening Times
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday 9am - 5pm
Wednesday CLOSED
Thursday 9am - 5pm
Friday 9am - 5pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm
Sunday CLOSED
