Oxfordshire Museums Service looks after collections from all over the county and provides curatorial services to other museums in Oxfordshire.
Situated at the heart of the historic town of Woodstock, the award-winning redevelopment of Fletcher’s House provides a home for the new county museum. Oxfordshire Museums Service main displays are held at the Oxfordshire Museum.
The Museums Resource Centre (formerly the Oxfordshire Museums Store) was designed and built by Oxfordshire County Council in 1992 to house the county's large and important collections of archaeology, history and natural history.
