Community plans allow communities themselves to develop shared ideas for their future. Local people use a range of different methods to find out more about local needs and to identify who can help meet those needs.

A community plan is developed in full consultation with the people living in the area so it is a very valuable document both for the community itself and for a number of other organisations.
