New scam mail initiative comes to libraries

People in Oxfordshire are being asked to take any scam letters or emails they receive to their local library during May, as part of a new initiative to help put a stop to scammers.

A letting agent in Oxford has been ordered to pay a total of £309,303 after pleading guilty to seven consumer protection related offences and one of money laundering at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday 9 February.
