Partnership leads to new dementia care facility

A recently-opened purpose-built specialist Oxfordshire care home for people with dementia which was constructed as part of a strong partnership involving the county council will soon ensure that many people can now reside closer to their families rather than being placed in out of county accommodation.

Adults with learning disabilities are working with a local artist to paint four murals on the walls of the Safety Centre at Rewley Road Fire Station, as part of a special project set up by Oxfordshire County Council's Fire and Rescue Service and Adult Learning.
