New bus service benefits residents

Published 23 January 2012

Residents of a housing development being built in Didcot are set to benefit from a new bus service which will run direct from the estate to the train station and town centre.

The new service will run every half an hour from Great Western Park to Didcot Parkway, the Orchard Centre and the Broadway from Monday 6 February.

It will be operated by RH Buses on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council and will be funded by the developers of Great Western Park.

As more homes are completed and occupied, it’s hoped the frequency of the service will increase to every 20 minutes.

Detailed timetable information is available from traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or via www.traveline.info, or from RH Buses on 01993 869100 or via their website at www.rhbuses.com.
