Village hall grants

We have a small grants scheme to fund improvements to village halls and community centres in market towns, including Oxford. All enquiries about this fund should be made to the Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC) who administers the scheme on our behalf.

The ORCC grants officer can advise you on:

• eligibility for an award
• grants criteria
• types of projects that are usually successful.

The focus is on health and safety and improvements to provide access to meet the Disability and Discrimination Act requirements.

There are usually two rounds of applications awards a year; further information and application forms can be obtained from the ORCC only.
