Supported living schemes

Offering support to people with learning disabilities.

Oxfordshire’s supported living schemes offer support for adults with learning disabilities who want to live independently in a home of their own.

We can teach skills and activities such as:

  • learning to cook independently
  • training to use public transport
  • helping to develop and maintain friendships
  • providing extra support for a holiday
  • learning to manage medication.

Support plan

We will work with service users, your advocates and care manager to build a support plan tailored to you. Our staff are  trained and experienced in delivering a 'person-centred' approach. The support we provide is led by you and anybody else you choose to be involved. Four local services cover Oxford City, South and Vale, West Oxfordshire and North Cherwell.
