We want to help improve the provision and speed of broadband in Oxfordshire and asked panel members about how they use broadband, so that this can be used in our application to the Government for national broadband delivery funding.

This residents' survey looked at the council's budget and priorities for local public services. There were also questions from NHS Oxfordshire regarding services it provides.

Oxfordshire Voice Survey 7: May-July 2011
The Oxfordshire County Council section of the survey looks at panel members' use of and attitudes toward public libraries. It has been designed to explore locally some of the main areas explored in the national study commissioned by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council called 'What the public want from libraries.

In this survey, panel members were asked questions about their local area, and about Oxfordshire County Council's customer services. There was also an NHS Oxfordshire section about bringing care services closer to people's homes.

Panel members were asked their opinions on different aspects of their local area and towns they frequently visit, including things they would like to see improved. There were also questions from NHS Oxfordshire on improving mental health services in the county.

The residents' panel were asked to take part in a survey on behalf of Oxfordshire NHS, which focussed on their local area, media and communications. It also had a section on alcohol and drinking patterns.

A sample of panel members were invited to take part in one of three discussion groups. The discussion focussed on whether members felt the Police and other public services are successfully dealing with crime and anti-social behaviour and why.

Online survey software was tested for the first time with the panel. The questions focused on 'care for adults'. The same questions were asked in the 16th paper survey for comparison between paper and online responses.

Citizens' Panel 13 - October 2006
This autumn edition of the Citizens' Panel questionnaire includes questions on a wide range of subjects including residents' experience and views of community life, car boot sales and accessing child-care information.
