The Oxfordshire Compact has been developed with the support of many different organisations in Oxfordshire. A growing number of statutory, voluntary, community and faith organisations in Oxfordshire have already signed up, including the members of the Oxfordshire Stronger Communities Alliance.

The Oxfordshire Compact includes detailed guidance, or codes, on how local authorities and the voluntary, community and faith sector need to work together. There will be five codes altogether covering:

• consultation and policy appraisal - completed
• funding - completed
• equality and diversity - completed
• volunteering - (to be developed)
• community groups - (to be developed).
