Ofsted encourages you to complete the SEF online. 

You should have received a unique password from Ofsted called an Ofsted Security Token (OST) and the guidelines on how to complete the online form.  If you have not received these, please contact Ofsted on 0300 123 1231, quoting your Ofsted Unique Reference Number.

Alternatively, you can complete the SEF by hand, and post it to Ofsted. The SEF and Guidance documents are on the Ofsted website.

The form should be read in conjunction with Are you ready for your inspection? and the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

 Your Community Childcare and Play Officer can advise you on this as well as other aspects of preparing for inspections.
