Let us know what you think

young and old people writing a complaint and someone listening

It’s easy to make a comment, compliment or complaint about Oxfordshire County Council.

Whether you are a child or an adult who uses social care services we are here to listen. We really want to know what you think about the services we provide.

What do you think?

  • Have we done something very well?
  • Have we let you down in some way and do you feel unhappy with the way you have been treated?
  • Or could we do something better?

Whether you want to make a comment, compliment or complaint we want to hear from you. By listening to you we can try to make our services better across Oxfordshire.

You should never worry about complaining to us. We promise that you will not be treated badly or unfairly for complaining and we will always take you seriously.

Who can help you complain?

Anyone can help you complain if you want them to.

If you want, you can also ask for help from a free independent advocacy service.

We always try hard to sort out your complaint but if we feel that we cannot help any more with the complaint you can contact the Local Government Ombudsman.

Making a complaint - video

We have also made a video which explains what happens when you contact the Comments, Compliments and Complaints team, and how it helps the council.

You need Adobe Flash Player 10 to view the video below. Download Adobe Flash Player 10. Alternatively, you can view the Making a Complaint video on YouTube.
