For families to enjoy daily during museum opening hours:

Visit our new interactive dinosaur gallery - if you dare!
Have a go at dressing up or puppet theatre in The Countryside Galley
Be amazed when you put on the special glasses provided in our 3D archaeological display in The Introductory Galley
Pick up a backpack to explore the weird and wonderful world of materials and explore plant and animal adaptations. Cost £1 plus £1 refundable deposit.

Thursday 16 May	Museum at Night	Discover more about nocturnal animals, beasts and creepy crawlies with trails around the museum. Make an owl mask and meet some amazing live owls in the garden. Free event.
Tuesday 28 May	Tom Tots	Craft activity, stories and songs for the under-five’s (10.30-11.00)
Tuesday 28 May	’Butterfly Disguise’	Make a butterfly mask inspired by the Lepidoptery collection in the museum
Thursday 30 May	Drop-in ’Fascinating Creatures’	Look in the old Spice Cupboard and see the fascinating creatures created by Artist Lucy Casson- Make your own to take home.

All ‘Family Learning Drop- in’ activities take place in the Coach House. (2-4p.m)
