The service is for everyone in Oxfordshire, not just library members.

What sort of questions do we answer?

We can provide answers to questions on practically anything and save you time tracking down things that are hard to find. We will do our best to put you in touch with an organisation or more specialist library, otherwise.

We regularly help with:

• contact details
• facts and figures
• company information
• sources of homework help - although we don't write the homework for you
• obscure questions from people starting out on research.

Out of hours

If you phone or email us outside our office hours we will get back to you on the next working day. If you need an answer before then you can contact the online librarian chat service, Enquire which is staffed 24/7 by librarians across the UK and United States.

Who will be answering the questions?

Answers Direct is run by a team of trained information librarians using the entire resources of Oxfordshire libraries, Reference Online and the Internet.
