Annual accounts and audit

The latest published accounts are those for 2011/12. The Statement of Accounts 2011/12 presents the financial position of the County Council for the year ending 31 March 2012 and includes the Annual Governance Statement.

The summary of accounts 2011/12 provides a simplified presentation of the financial position of the county council for the year ending 31 March 2012. The summary is taken from the published statement of accounts 2011/12, however the summary of accounts is unaudited.

The law requires that our statement of accounts is signed as approved by certain members and officers of the council and that the audit certificate is signed by the council's external auditor. A number of frauds have been carried out against bodies that publish signatures on the internet and for this reason the signatures on our accounts have been removed.
