We work with many other organisations to increase the amount of courses and workshops we offer.

Adults with learning disabilities

We offer courses, projects and workshops for people with learning disabilities. You may want to learn something new, develop skills or meet people with the same interests.

We offer lots of courses including art and craft, cookery and life skills. Many people have said that they have got more confidence from joining our classes.

Getting the skills you need for life

We can help you with your reading and writing, English and maths.

This will help:

  • people who left school without qualifications
  • parents who want to help their children with school work
  • people who want to improve their skills to get a job
  • people who need guidance on what course is right for them.

Support for people who speak another language

We offer English classes for people who speak other languages. These courses will help you to live and work in England and to learn about citizenship.

Help someone to read and write

Would you like to be a volunteer and help adults to improve their reading, writing and maths? You can work with a trained tutor and get lots of experience in working with adult learners.

Support to get a job

We can give you lots of support and training to get you ready for work.

We can help with things such as:

  • interview skills
  • making a CV
  • filling in an application form.

Help at work

We are part of a national programme that helps local businesses and people at work.

Our aim is to:

  • help employers and voluntary organisations to improve the skills of their staff
  • help train people doing work experience to do their job well.
