About the Oxfordshire Voice Citizens' Panel

How you can volunteer for the citizens' panel and have your say.

What is Oxfordshire Voice?

Oxfordshire Voice is a citizen's panel made up of over 3,000 Oxfordshire residents who have volunteered to give up some of their time to answer surveys on a wide variety of issues. Panel members are carefully recruited to be representative of the population of Oxfordshire and are invited to stay on the panel for around three years.

What does being a member of Oxfordshire Voice involve?

All panel members are invited to take part in three questionnaires a year. We either send these in the post or by email depending on the members' preference. Members could be asked to take part in other activities such as online surveys or group discussions if this is something they have said they are interested in.

How are the findings used?

Once we have received the responses, they are analysed and circulated to senior staff at Oxfordshire County Council who will respond to them. We let panel members know how the information has been used in a regular newsletter.
