We have a wide range of responsibilities to assist and protect children and support their families.
Services are designed to help children remain with their families as far as possible and we offer assistance to families in difficulties or under pressure.
We also have a legal duty to investigate all complaints concerning the welfare of children and to protect those children who might be at risk.
